Mayday Parade brought all the energy and emotion with them to Stage AE in Pittsburgh from the self-titled album on the 11th year anniversary tour!  With a cathedral-like environment, Mayday Parade took the stage to perform their self-titled album from front to back, as they adorned the stage in suits to commemorate the occasion.  Opening the set with the opening title Oh Well, Oh Well, the crowd showed their appreciation for the band and their long driving career, as well as the commitment to bring the tour to town after having to postpone what was supposed to be the 10 year anniversary, due to COVID-19.

With all of the excitement in the large, crowded room, it appeared to have only fueled the fire for what fans were anticipating throughout the pandemic.  Closing out the set with Happy Endings Are Stories That Haven’t Ended Yet, the band was quickly back on stage to perform a career-spanning encore with new tracks, such as Kids of Summer, and ending the nights with their first hit Jamie All Over.

This highly anticipated tour did not fail to exceed expectations for fans of the band and is expected to continue as planned through June 18th, 2020 when the tour wraps up overseas in Neuhausen, DE.  This gives the band little time to rest before they’re back on the road for this year’s Sad Summer Fest, which is expected to bring the band back to Stage AE on July 19th, 2022!
