Christopher Cross brought his 40th Anniversary Tour to the Robins Theatre in Warren, Ohio this past Tuesday! The event was everything you could want from a Christopher Cross performance. The evening had a very intimate feeling to it, as Mr. Cross took the stage at show time with no act prior to him.
As the lights dimmed and Mr. Cross took the stage, he opened the evening with a soft performance of Minstrel Gigolo. The night continued on as he played a 40 year career spanning setlist that included all of the hits, along with some b-sides and lesser known numbers. The night concluded with the #1 hit Ride Like The Wind and an encore of Think of Laura. A standing ovation for the legend was certainly well deserved.
If there is one thing to take from this performance, it is that Christopher Cross still carries the same authentic voice he’s had for the past 40 years and doesn’t show signs of stopping any time soon!
