Steel Panther brought their ‘Clause and Paws Holiday Tour’ through Warren, Ohio on Tuesday night! This was one of only seven stops on the band’s holiday tour, as they make their way through the Midwest to finish off 2022.
This night is exactly what you would expect from a Steel Panther concert: high energy, laughs, amazing music, crowd participation, and all the raunchy themes you can think of. Adorned in their signature 80’s hair metal attire, Steel Panther immediately hit the stage and proceeded to invite fans out of their seats and to the edge of the stage. Playing face-to-face with the crowd, frontman Michael Starr belted out the lyrics to “Goin in the Backdoor” before rolling through an evening of the bands hits (and some lesser known tracks) that spanned the career of the group.
Towards the end of the band’s set, came the themed portion of the night. The band took a moment to turn the tone to “festive” and play an acoustic set. One that included their original Christmas song “The Stocking Song,” as they wore Santa hats and talked about holiday themed stories. This segment of the night also included a fan and some other acoustic renditions (I’ll leave those surprises for the rest of the tour), before wrapping up the night with “17 Girls In A Row” and “Death to All but Metal”.
Its safe to say that if you’re a fan this crazy group of fun and talented individuals, then you’re certainly going to want to check out this limited run of dates!
