AWOLNATION brought their 2022 “Falling Forward Tour” to Stage AE on Monday night. This date marks the band’s first trip to Pittsburgh since X-Fest is 2018 and it is not uncommon for the Alt Rock band to take a few years in between stopping in cities… and that wait was certainly anticipated by the fans.
Opening the night with Freaking Me Out, a newly released single, the band ran a setlist full of their hits to the packed Pittsburgh crowd who had been waiting quite some time for their return. Following up with Slam, Kill Your Heroes, and Passion, amongst others, the band wrapped their main set with Knights of Shame. A 3-song encore followed, including a Biz Markie cover of Just A Friend, and the crowd left the night more than satisfied and content with the performance.
The “Falling Forward Tour” continues onto Boston, MA tomorrow night and wraps up in Seattle, WA on November 18!
