September 1st, 2021 marked the first time that All Time Low played a concert in Cleveland, Ohio since August of 2018 when they were in town for the “Summer Ever After” tour. With this being a lot of music fan’s first show experience since the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s safe to say the crowd was bursting with energy and excitement from the moment Rian Dawson stepped behind the drums until Alex Gaskarth told the crowd “goodnight” following the final encore of Dear Maria. The Sad Summer Festival (or Side Summer Tour for a lot of dates) has been largely anticipated since its rescheduling from the summer of 2020. With tickets starting at only $30, this is more than a pop-punk fan could ask for after being without live music in almost 2 years!
The tour continues in the US until the final stop in Tucson, AZ on September 16th, 2021 and will pick back up in London, GB on September 22nd, 2021 to hit the overseas leg of the tour. US dates will then continue at the Orpheum Theater in New Orleans, LA in October 2021. Be sure to check them out on the road with The Maine and remember… “it was never a phase.”
